Perry Palomino has fought her demons – and won – but the battle is far from over. With Karina Halle books, no matter how long you put it down for, when you come back to it, you can just remember where things left off. Loved it. Every bit of it. Its been ages since I read hers, and I even with my horrible memory, I can remember what she is referring to previous books. Brilliant author.
12/9 Update review: Usually with books that don't have an ending and make you read the next one I give a lot lower score. I didn't even consider this when I gave it this rating. It didn't even dawn on me - because I knew I was going to read the next one so never gave it a second thought until starting her next one - then I realized "yeah, it never really did end." Now that's talent!
